a speed bump or a bump in the road

there are things in life that should cause us to slow down. for example, a speed bump. if we do not choose to slow down when we approach a speed bump, it could mess up your car over time...sometimes the speed bumps come out of nowhere...most of the time a car slows down to go carefully over a speed bump...

bumps in the road are hard to avoid sometimes, but you can try to swerve and avoid them at all cost. bumps in the road are from poor highway conditions and sometimes a different path is needed so the bumps are no longer an issue or simply the road needs repaved...

currently, i'm trying to figure out if this is a speed bump or a bump in the road. i'm praying to God that it is a speed bump because with speed bumps, you are easily able to pick up speed after the area is clear of speed bumps. you are also able to continue on your trip without potentially damaging your vehical if you don't become careless.

please God, help me figure it out and make the bumps go away

high-hill, high-hill, it's off to camp I go...

So i have just returned from a week long adventure of camp at High Hill. It was amazing! I have realized many things since attending camp...

-you cannot shoot a ranch-filled waterballoon nearly as far as a regular waterballoon w/ a 3-man slingshot
-when the weight regulations for the blob are ignored, it enables a much better blobbing experience
-never make a 100ft long slip-n-slide over really dry rock-hard ground, kids will have large bruises on their bodies...oh poor zach...bless his lil head...
-doing line-drives w/ waterballoons w/ the 3-man slingshot are really funny to watch kids scramble
-who would of thought that the little red-headed camper girl could yodel...and do it so well that she got a standing ovation
-people from other bible colleges are normal and are in fact really amazing people are do create many fun times and memories
-it is true: searching for 2 1/2 hours at 1:30am on the last night of camp for the girl who decided to stay outside when everyone else went back into the cabins after raiding is the scariest feeling on earth...

So I did it, i survived my first camping experience as an intern...it was the best thing that has happened yet while on my internship...I made many friends and had a blast knowing that what I did was ministry and i was having fun! It was great to meet all of the fun staff, everyone from JBC, and the kids were great too!!!
